Who said magic carpet rides are fantasy? Earthbound? Never! One beautiful young woman tasting caviar and twirling in the snow-like brilliance of Scandinavia, marveled, “I am like Cinderella in an enchanted place.

Enchanted indeed. All on an exquisite journey were we, around giant red windmills, on tropical Island paradises, through Mexican fiestas & landing in the elegance of French bistros. What a wonderful Ball. To meet and greet others in this most magical of settings …dancing under a full and chilly moon, caught up in jazz and Island beats, experiencing foods exquisite and familiar, and sharing stories with others whom we had never before met … is this not enchantment?

Sunny and Dan, thank you for taking us all on this wonderful journey to nations afar. The magic in this neighborhood of the world …. with your immense talent and dedication you revealed it to us all. Please extend our thanks too to your talented committee. Our community programs, our schools, and we as neighbors, are ongoing beneficiaries of your incredible talent and commitment. Again, thank you!

You two are the best! The Black & White Ball was a HUGE success. After attending the previous ball, I didn’t think it can be any better, but you’ve certainly out done yourselves! The place was like Disneyland with different “worlds” and cuisines to match the jet-setting theme. The entertainment and the FOOD were definitely worthy of the ticket prices…in fact, a bargain for a great evening of fun.

Thanks are not enough for the amount of work and energy you’ve put into this fundraiser. Moreover, the community appreciates having a quality event to bring the Palo Altans together. Palo Alto Recreation Department and Partner In Education are lucky beneficiaries of your enthusiasm and effort. Bravo!

The decorations were spectacular, things were very nicely organized. It was easy to get around, the food was terrific, I could go on.

But, most of all, it continues to be unbelievable to me the amount of blood, sweat and tears that you have put in to make this event for the entire PA community. What heart you have.
